Strong African American Families Program (SAAF) Facilitator Training
Training for individuals to become facilitators certified to conduct the Strong African American Families (SAAF) or Strong African American Families – Teen (SAAF-T) programs.

Minnesota International Medical Graduates Residency Preparation Program – BRIIDGE
A 9-month residency preparatory program for international medical graduates in Minnesota. Training consists of inpatient, outpatient, community, and classroom components designed to optimally prepare participants to succeed in residency programs.

Promoting the Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care: States
Funding to improve the health outcomes for people with behavioral health conditions by supporting the adoption and improvement of integrated care models for behavioral and primary physical health at the state level. Tribal, rural, and other medically underserved communities are a program priority. Program eligibility is limited to states and state agencies; however, states must partner with community programs, community mental health centers, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and/or other primary care practices.

AHRQ Safety Program for Telemedicine
Free learning cohorts of healthcare professionals who use telemedicine as a care delivery model. The 2024 cohort will begin in June 2024 and will focus on appropriate antibiotic use while maintaining patient satisfaction and reducing potential side effects in patients seen via telemedicine. Providers and practices from rural communities are encouraged to apply.

Region 6 Public Health Leadership Institute (R6-PHLI)
A virtual leadership program designed for mid-career practitioners and emerging leaders in Public Health Region 6.

The PATIENTS Professors Academy
A 5-week online training program that prepares participants to learn about patient-centered practices within their work and communities. It is an opportunity to interact with and learn from a diverse population about how to engage communities in research. A focus is on populations most impacted by health inequity.

Promoting Indigenous Research Leadership Workshop
A 3 day workshop designed to promote the public health research careers of Indigenous and other early-career faculty working with Indigenous communities across the country.

Telehealth Implementation Bootcamp
A 36 week cohort of healthcare organizations and professionals committed to participating in an ongoing program for support, technical assistance, and training to implement telehealth programs.

Maryland AHEC Scholars
A multidisciplinary certificate program for certain health professions students in Maryland that offers opportunities for hands-on training, experience in rural and underserved communities, and networking with other students and professionals.

Pacific Public Health Fellowship Program
A two-year professional development program designed to prepare new college graduates and early career professionals in a variety of public health career pathways to meet emerging and future public health challenges in the Pacific.
